Love this one Joanie from one of my favorite movies. I hope your Mom is doing OK & that you enjoyed Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my JDR friends here--I hosted the family this year so had a houseful, but it was fun!

How are you and your Mom doing Joanie?
Donna! You're a better woman than I! Hosting a big group?! YIKES! How many were there??
But what fun!

How are you and your Mom doing Joanie? Donna! You're a better woman than I! Hosting a big group?! YIKES! How many were there?? But what fun! We ended up with 17 people, but loved it as everyone always steps up & brings various dishes & drinks. Plus my grandson was there, so I enjoyed spending time with him, too. What did you do Karen?

Sounds like fun Donna! I usually LOVE big hoards of people! I grew up with both Mom and Dad's sides of the family being larger groups just like that! Mom's side would easily be 20 - 25 people. yikes.
Too much fun, food and drinks! It was just my sis and I this year, we turned down a couple of invitations that we usually would accept. But my sis' job was driving her nuts and well, this IS my busy time of the year (thankfully!) so we decided the less hectic the better. We just baked a chicken, with smaller versions of the usual sides.
BUT I have a client who I always make cornbread dressing (stuffing) for, and that family continues to grow. This year I made almost 4 gallons of it for them. Whew. And of course I made for us too. LOL
I was tired.
Thanks for asking!!
And, yeah, Im so glad that MJ project was not true. I was about to email Sam.

Mom still has a ways to go, but she is getting there. Hoping there will be no set backs.

Karen--glad you had some time with your sister & yes, sometimes keeping it simple is best! I can picture you up to your elbows in stuffing!
Joanie I'm glad your Mom is on the road to recovery!
So no the Christmas rush is on!
